The insightsoftware ESG solution allows you to collect ESG data using a data collection module and seamlessly share the collected data with the narrative reporting and filing module for ESG reporting, as well as with the reporting and analytics module for internal presentations, reporting, and analysis.
Data Collection Module
The data collection module includes business processes consisting of a consolidation of smaller units called scenarios. Each scenario covers a business outcome to be achieved. In addition to the business outcome, scenarios also cover various actions or steps to perform that scenario.
Upon completion of business process definition, the data collection module's intelligent algorithm reads the various actions or steps defined in a scenario and guides users to define the required models, associated business rules, and data flows. Once the process definition is complete, the actions or steps defined in scenarios are grouped into tasks, activities, and workflows.
With the data collection module, you can:

The narrative reporting and filing module allows you to:
Create XBRL projects according to your reporting needs.
Select ESRS as the jurisdiction type for ESG reporting.
Include reports in different file formats (PDF, .pptx, .xlsx, etc.) in the project.
Tag values according to the ESRS taxonomy.
Have values updated automatically in real time when the source data is updated.
Generate inline XBRL reports.
Generate reports in different file formats.
Automate reporting process with roll forward.
