Data Collection Module
When collecting ESG data with the ESG data collection module, you can:
Define metrics and units.
Define conversion factors.
Assign metric and narrative codes and positions for ESG accounts.
Include ESG data in allocated enterprise-wide data (facts).
Use ESG positions within report definition as any other positions.
Convert local ESG values into group and parallel values.
Import ESG data including metrics, units, and conversion factors.

Data Sharing for Narrative Reporting and Filing Module
The data collection module provides business views to share data and manage database connections with the reporting and filing module.
The business views include ESG elements as well as all other elements required in financial reporting. You can also manage comments for different figures on the business views. Comments are mandatory for some figures in ESG reporting. With the business views, you only need to collect the data and then pull the required data from the data collection module to the narrative reporting and analysis module.

Narrative Reporting and Filing Module
The narrative reporting and filing module allows you to:
Create XBRL projects according to your reporting needs.
Select ESRS as the jurisdiction type for ESG reporting.
Include reports in different file formats (PDF, .pptx, .xlsx, etc.) in the project.
Tag values according to the ESRS taxonomy.
Have values updated automatically in real time when the source data is updated.
Generate inline XBRL reports.
Generate reports in different file formats.
Automate reporting process with roll forward.

Cloud
When you use cloud version of the narrative reporting and filing module, the data transfer from the business views of the data collection module is automatic after the initial set up.
