EPM Consolidation and Close
In the EPM consolidation and close module, you can collect your financial figures from your subsidiaries, check and validate that the actuals are correct, and produce the consolidated results that are real-time and easy to use. You can leverage tools across the EPM platform like updated forecasts and actuals validation to work collaboratively across the different functions and ensure that everything is correct and submitted during the consolidation and close process. The EPM consolidation and close module supports IFRS, and regional statutory reporting rules.
Input and report templates
The EPM consolidation and close module includes ready-made input and report templates for data input and report creation. The report templates resemble Excel sheets with similar functionalities.
Templates include selections, which can be prepared and saved as favorites. With the selections, you can specify what is calculated and displayed on the report including data type, period, year, organization, etc. You can edit the selections at any time. As you refresh and save the templates, data is updated on the reports in real time.
You can also drill down to the data with a simple double-click of a cell to see further details on the figures.

EPM Budgeting, Planning and Forecasting
In the EPM budgeting, planning and forecasting module, you can plan frequently and accurately by automating and extending your planning processes (e.g., People, Revenue, OpEx). Implement rolling forecasts and scenario planning to drive better business decisions.
Instead of moving large amounts of data from application to application, the tools are integrated. In the EPM solution you can seamlessly pull actuals into your planning modules for rolling forecasts and use your last year as a template when preparing your budget. You can also use monthly reports to validate your estimates and actuals and use that data to check your forecast scenario.
You can use your analytics and dashboards tools to view reports with a web-based interface that lets you drill down to your financial details in real time. You can also update your forecasts to factor in changing business conditions. These changes can then be compared with the Actuals, i.e., income statement, balance sheet, and other organizational KPI’s, providing effective and efficient enterprise performance management.

EPM Disclosure Management
In the EPM disclosure management module, you can efficiently prepare board packs, formal financial reports, and press releases from your consolidated financial data.
The figures come from the insightsoftware EPM platform and are dynamically linked so you can be sure the financial data is correct. The connection between the underlying data and the figures displayed on the finals reports is able to be refreshed as they are referenced via variables that point to the datasources. The variables allow both dynamic figures and statements in text form on the report. The reports are interactive, with the ability to incorporate graphics providing a glossy and professional output.

Validation
You can prepare validations to compare data from different sources of data, and the system will produce reports to allow you to check that everything is consistent across the EPM platform.
Workflow Management
You can use workflows to assign responsibilities across the EPM platform and maintain versions of your report pages and sections, view changes, and restore them to prior versions.
Report Audit Trail
You can maintain section-specific version history within your reports and restore prior versions if needed. You can also compare versions with a compare feature to make sure all required changes have been made.

Dashboards
In the EPM reporting and BI module, you can view dashboards comparing financial data like revenue against your budget.
In your dashboards, you can hover over figures to see the exact numbers and change the filter of the dashboard at any time. You can define the filter with selections such as year, period, view, entity, and scale.
You can prepare briefing packs or sessions but also have the ability to edit your dashboards live if needed. This lets you work collaboratively while in a session.
